TJ Shepherd, Vice President

TJ Shepherd is a Vice President of LCM and is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing investments across healthcare industry sectors. He is currently a Board Observer of Restoration Behavioral Health Group and Salt Dental Collective. He formerly served as a Board Observer of American Veterinary Group.

Mr. Shepherd was previously a Senior Associate at Lone Star Funds, a Texas based multi strategy private equity firm. While at Lone Star Funds, Mr. Shepherd worked on the origination, underwriting, and asset management of corporate investments in private equity and private credit. Prior to Lone Star Funds, Mr. Shepherd worked at Crestline Investors, where he focused on the underwriting and asset management of credit related hedge fund investments.

Mr. Shepherd graduated cum laude with a BBA from Texas Christian University with concentrations in Finance, Marketing, and Accounting. Following TCU, Mr. Shepherd was a senior mathematics teacher and math department head at Dallas CAN Academy at Oak Cliff through Teach For America, a non-profit tasked with ending educational inequity at under-resourced urban schools.
