Ashley Hanna serves as General Counsel to the Resource Group, where she advises LCM’s portfolio companies on corporate transactions, governance, and other legal matters. Ashley provides these services through her independent private legal practice and also represents other clients.
Ashley has more than 25 years of experience in corporate transactional, governance and nonprofit matters. She began her legal career at Baker Botts and later joined Porter Hedges, where she was named a partner in 2009. After 11 years in private practice, Ashley founded her own law firm focused on corporate transactions. She subsequently spent eight years working with Houston-based philanthropists Laura and John Arnold, serving in various roles within their philanthropic organization.
Ashley earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. She is licensed to practice law in Texas.
