Position:

This is a newly created position that will operate at the financial center of the firm. The individual selected for this position will assist in the daily accounting duties (private equity and management company) and investor relations support as the firm experiences significant growth. This opportunity will allow the individual to be involved in multiple aspects of the firm – providing dedicated support to the CFO and founders and important and helpful data for our investors. The ideal candidate will have the necessary business acumen to proactively design and build upon current business practices with high attention to detail. The candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for quarterly fund reporting, monthly management company reporting, tax reporting, compliance, and banking
  • Assist in managing relationships between the firm and its investors, ensuring consistent and transparent communication
  • Support fundraising efforts by assisting in the preparation of investor presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials
  • Manage investor onboarding, including subscription documents, KYC/AML compliance, and capital call notices with fund administrator
  • Respond to investor inquiries regarding fund performance, strategy, and operations
  • Design and document processes to increase efficiencies while delivering high-quality deliverables

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in accounting from four-year college or university and 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) preferred
  • Must have considerable knowledge of basic accounting principles (i.e., A/R, A/P, trial bal-ance, general ledger, financial statements, month-end closing, journal entries, debits, credits, etc.)
  • Familiarity with fund structures, partnership accounting, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models is required
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with an above average knowledge and proficiency of Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online would be a plus
